4500 - External Battery?

My 990 has just been stolen and I am considering replacement with a 4500.

I have a Quest Beltpack External battery (6v) which I used with the 990. Can anyone tell me if that would that also be usable with the 4500?

Probably should be fine, just make sure the voltage
and polarity is the same.
