Good morning, I would like some opinions I have three pocket wizards TT5 and one TT1 I was using them with Canon 580 EX II and 580 EX flash I recently sold all the 580 and im trying to figure out if I should sell the pocket wizard or if once they are updated if they will offer anything new to the Canon 600 RT, I also use studio flash and I need atleast one receiver and one transmiter to fire them. Im sure theres lots of people out there dealing with the same issue I wolud like to here from you as to what you plan to do with your Pocket Wizard TT1 and TT5.
Thank You

I plan to keep using my 4x 550EX miniTT1/FlexTT5/AC3 with the 200 foot plus range and no funny shields.

Canon should have taken a lot more heat for the bad EMI signature coming out of the 580EX II. The question will be what they did for EMI on the 600 RT. Did they contain or eliminate the EMI at the source or just filter it in the radio section.

Why blame Canon? Canon did all they need to do, the device is certified to meet US, Canadian, European and even Australian (one I hadn't seen before) EMC regulations. LPA design just didn't do a good design job. Granted, there is not much they could do if there is a big spur sitting on their frequency and they don't want to change it. However, history seems to show that they didn't even bother to check for the problem which was discovered for them by their customers. You will find an FCC compliance statement on page 56 of the 500EXII manual.

BTW: Somehow, Radio Popper solved this issue why couldn't LPA?
