There is a time limit of 20mins on D800 videos because of an EU tax dodge. I don't know if it is the same for the d3200. Maybe your camera was overheating. If it was then that sounds like abnormal behaviour.I stand to be corrected.
Can the videos be shot either in full frame or APS-C.
We have a D800 (not tested yet).
Also a D3200.
I did a video the other day using the 3200, and in about 20 minutes it stopped....due to overheating.....so I took the battery out and put the camera in the fridge for half a hour.
Did u have or sense any overheating.
Regards

Hit the movie LV button and you'll see the limit is 29:59 shown in the upper right hand corner. And here's to removal of the tarriffThat probable is it. That 20 minute limit will be removed from EU's stupidios protective measures in the nearby future by the way.
I like the first one, very Andy Warhol-esque.
Gosh, you beat Tarkovski.I did a video the other day using the 3200, and in about 20 minutes it stopped...

Here's my D800E video test with Bumblebee, Flowers and Squawking Chickens. It's only slightly more interesting than your video!

--I think the D800E is amazing for video. I just don't understand the people who ***** it's not 4k. The D800E is more then good enough for video.
