Frist Nikon D800E video I have done.

I stand to be corrected.
Can the videos be shot either in full frame or APS-C.
We have a D800 (not tested yet).
Also a D3200.

I did a video the other day using the 3200, and in about 20 minutes it stopped....due to overheating.....so I took the battery out and put the camera in the fridge for half a hour.
Did u have or sense any overheating.
Regards

Stunning and riveting. Something a standard video camera or iPhone could never do.

Can't see nothing. Vimeo just says "Loading more stuff..." Slow servers maybe?

Okay. And we are supposed to care because?

If it was something actually worth watching then I might, but... a clock?

There is a time limit of 20mins on D800 videos because of an EU tax dodge. I don't know if it is the same for the d3200. Maybe your camera was overheating. If it was then that sounds like abnormal behaviour.

Yes,

That probable is it. That 20 minute limit will be removed from EU's stupidios protective measures in the nearby future by the way. So it might be, it will be removed in a firmware update as well.

Thanks for sharing,

Next time put in a cat, it will give you more viewers...a pity that the left focus issue has no relation on video, otherwise you would have had a post with at least 40+ replies.

Hit the movie LV button and you'll see the limit is 29:59 shown in the upper right hand corner. And here's to removal of the tarriff :) dave

I think the D800E is amazing for video. I just don't understand the people who ***** it's not 4k. The D800E is more then good enough for video.
I like the first one, very Andy Warhol-esque.

Here's my D800E video test with Bumblebee, Flowers and Squawking Chickens. It's only slightly more interesting than your video!

When u say 20 min, do u mean in one take, or in total of different takes.

How can i by pass this, after all, some film companies use SLR's for video work.

Confused

Like it says in the Bible "the ignorant will always be with you".
Not our job to feed them.
