...all the new lenses this camera will need!

...with a free cat as part of lens bundle kit.

Ive already found some issues with it:
1. Out of focus with top AF this time.
2. White dots with on board flash mode.

3. All cat pictures are out of focus-camera is programmed to hate cats-but not dogs-needs firmware upgrade.
4. Still looking but for sure will find something else soon.

Will have to buy special heavy-duty tripod to hold D900 steady enough to produce a sharp image

They would need to stop the earth rotating for fear of camera-shake.

I think 36.3MP is as far as Nikon can or at least should try to go with 35mm format(FX) sensors. Any more and they should just go ahead and intro their own MF size sensor. Or perhaps something the size of the Leica S2 sensor. That would necessitate an all new series of Nikon lenses of course, but, could be done. If you can afford an MF system, might as well. But to try to cram any more on to an FX size sensor? Wouldn't try it.

till 2016... ;-)

Gotta get on that damn waiting list early...

I have 4 cats do I get a free system?

No but you can start 4 duplicate threads along the lines of "here's my first shot of my cat - i actually aimed at the ceiling and the 100 mega pixels allowed me to crop everything out".

5. B&H thinks they might be getting some more in soon...or later... probably. But they can't tell you this.
6. Best Buy already has some on the shelf.

I ordered one a minute ago from B&H but they still cannot give me a delivery date. I really just do not understand how they can continue to operate a business that way.

lol I'm sure you'll get plenty.

But I don't know. Should I pre-order the D900 or wait for the D1000?
I would also want to know what breed of cat is included.
