Bokeh Kit

Also, a lot of the shots are of small objects, which leads me to believe it doesn't affect the entire image.

I dunno, seems a waste of money to me.

If that's what they consider good bokeh, I would walk, no, run to the nearest exit. Those photos look absolutely cheesy. I wonder if you get free "whine" with your order?

LOL! Yeah, novelty item for sure. But the concept of molding the Bokeh shapes was intriguing to me.

Haven't used it, but thanks for the post. It actually looks kind of fun
for certain things. And yes, I do know it's not "professional" looking,
just looks kind of fun. :) Lighten up.

That's really easy to do.

You need a black disk of something that fits inside the front element of your lens (or that you can secure to say a UV filter, and one of those craft stamps that cuts out a shape. Punch one (or more) of the same shape in the black disk, secure (making sure to seal well to keep light leakage out) and shoot!

Instant shaped bokeh. Is it "professional" no, is it fun, hells yes! ;)

But can be done DIY pretty cheapily, so I wouldn't spend lots of money on a kit. There are lots of good hot too sites and videos out there.
