That often happens because your own computer has been broken into by a hacker, and not the fault of the company that you are purchasing from.It was being drawn out against my credit card. My account number was compromised from an online purchase. I found out by accident when I called my credit card company to get rewards I had comming.
If your own computer is not secure, then it does not matter who you do business with online. You will be at risk. It is a never ending battle to keep a Windows PC secure these days. I've got the full Norton Security Suite, Malwarebytes, and PeerBlock all protecting my PC. And I am constantly updating their definition files.
