Bought the buy 1 get 1 free along with a 50 pk cdr and used a $20 off $50 available at:

The CDRs were $14.99 with a $12 mail in rebate. Net cost after rebate, with tax was $25.31

Is from first hand knowledge or are you just guessing? That's a pretty bold statement for someone that sounds like hasn't even tried Office Depot paper. I tried epson paper and didn't like it. I like the Office Depot paper better. There's no costco around here anyway.
sorry if this is already posted. But There is a buy one get one
free special on the 100pk OD paper.

No rebates, and is an instant discount. So you'll end up with 200
sheets for $39.99

I have tried the OD papers and many other brands. I don't think the OD Premium papers are as good as epson PREMIUM papers. Costco sells 100 sheets of 8.5x11 Epson Photo papers( I never said Epson Premium Papers) for $19.99. At this price, they are deeply discounted. Picture quality of both OD Premium and Epson Photo papers are not different. I personally think the Epson photo papers are better and i have both printers epson 1270 and 2200. Just my bold opinion, if you like to call it.

This implies you have not tried this paper.

"These are as good as the OD papers if not better."

This implies you have. So which is it? Try the paper first before
making such a bold statement.

Costco does not sell Epson Premium Paper, just their lower line.

GD in Michigan

1. Well, I browsed the OD site by zip code, and no stores in Michigan advertise the buy 1 get 1 free offer.

2. Re OD paper vs the Costco Epson paper. I used the Epson Photo Paper on my Canon S9000, and actually thought it looked better than Canon PPP.

The kick is , however, there is no information as to longevity of the print that I know of.

Want to try the OD paper because of all the favorable comments in the forum.

I have been using OD for a few months, (0ver 1,000 prints) and just picked up a box of Eposn from Costco. The differences between the OD and Epson are 1. Epson base color is warmer than the bright white of OD
2. Epson paper has a slight texture, even the glossy stock.
3. Epson paper is slightly thinner that OD.
4. Epson paper prints slightly warmer tones and a tad less contrast than OD.

The bottom line is that I love OD paper and so dose my clients but agter seeing the prints on the Epson paper I like the Epson paper much mroe than the OD. and as you said you can buy Epson for only $20 a box without searching for any deals. The only problem I had with Costco is that they did not stock Epson and I had to order from theri web site and pay shipping. And they took almost a week to deliver.

Just goes to show you how people like different things. I didn't like the textured look of the epson. I like the thickness of OD and I like more contrast. Everyone has different tastes though.

Thanks for the heads-up. I searched and found that the store just 5 min from my house has the offer, so I printed out the offer and the $20 off for $50 purchase, and I'm headed up there in the morning. I plan to get two packages of OD-PHGPP for $40, then get the CD-R 50 pack for $15, then use the coupon to reduce it to $35.00. Then I'll mail in the CD-R rebate for $12.00 and my net cost for 200 sheets of Glossy Photo Paper plus 50 CD-Rs will be $23.00! Subtracting the net cost of $3.00 for the CD-Rs, my total cost for the 200 sheets will be $20.00

That's 10 cents per sheet for a glossy paper that I really like on my S9000! WOW, what a deal!

It was in the National office depot sunday paper flie.r You
probably just have to mention it. That flier is the same
everywhere.

Office Depot PREMIUM PHOTO PAPER 100-PK
Coupon Code 3576
The deal is good through Sept 7. I am not positive that it will work in all stores, but here is a link:

http://officedepot.crossmediaservices.com/officedepot/listing_detail.asp?listingid=-2098804656&storeid=2279500&offerid=

Buying two packs @39.99 each gives you 4 packs for $80, and then apply the $20 off coupon=$60. Wow! I'm going tomorrow.

In addition to everything that has already been said about this comparison between the OD and Epson paper, I would also like to add that on my HP932C, the dots are much better absorbed in the Epson and hence less visible. Acutally, there is a dramatic difference. I love the OD paper for whiteness, feel and thickness, but when I printed on the Epson paper from Costco, I couldn't believe that it actually made my dots look smaller than they are on the OD paper. This is really the biggest deciding factor of all..... if only it was as nice and thick.

There is a $20 coupon available on line which can be applied to any $ 50 or more daily purchase. A fresh one can be used each time you go in untill 9/8.
My two packs cost me $20 and an extra $10 purchase.

I think this is only at the store. I don't think the deal applys
online.

Anways, I looked at my receipt, and not only did they take off $40
for one of the packs (making it buy one get one free), they took an
additional $20 off??? Not sure if this was a mistake or what. I
certainly didnt notice until I got home and checked my receipt.

I paid a total of $20 for 2 packs.

My Office Depot experience was even better than expected - because of a previous problem. The last time OD offered their Premium Glossy Photo Paper for $30, rather than $40, I bought two packages for $60. I just now noticed that one of the packages had some damage to one of the corners, putting a slight crease on all the pages in that corner. So I brought that package with me to do an even exchange, then buy the two additional packages.

Well, the sales lady insisted it would be better (she was right), if she refunded my payment for the damaged box first, then processed the new items. BUT, when she did the refund, she refunded the original price of $40 rather than what I paid for it, which was $30. I had the original receipt with me and gave it to her to do this refund. (I did not notice the amount until I got home.)

Then I picked up 3 boxes of 100 each paper, 1 to replace the one I returned plus the two new ones I wanted to buy. I figured I would get the first two for the price of one, $40, and the 3rd one would cost me the normal $40, which would make the return a wash.

BUT, interestingly, the way they rang up is there was a $20 discount on each item, including the 3rd box, so the total for all 3 boxes was $60. Then I presented the $20-off-on-$50-purchase coupon, so that reduced it to $40.

So I returned 1 box and got $40 for it, then bought 3 more boxes which cost me a total of $40 - so I got 300 sheets of OD PHGPP for FREE!!

I'm sitting here looking at the return receipt and the payment receipt, still shaking my head. I must be missing something. I'm not going to go back, I wouldn't be able to explain it anyway.

One interesting buy-product, it looks like, from the way they ring it up, you could buy just one package and get it for half-price. Anyway, I have lots of paper now - so where is the free ink?

I think you got 300 sheets or good (or bad) paper for $30. Since you originally gave them $30 for the box you took back ($30 in the hole), they gave you $40 for it (your up $10), and then you gave them $60 for 3 boxes (now down $50), and then a coupon for $20 off (now down $30).

Jezzz all this paper talk is getting me a headache. And to think I never even tried Epson photo paper on my Canon s900. I did try a Xerox toner cartridge in my HP laserjet using Staples paper, but my pics still came out black, and gray, and white...
