My D90's focus is recently not accurate. I used single point focus, aimed at the subject, normal focus (not wide), lighting was good, iso 800, Program mode, auto WB, etc. Basically, everything seems to be the usual photography. Once it turns out, the subject is a little OFF. My girlfriend stood on front of Christmas tree but it focused the wall beside her (and the rear area of the tree).
I dropped my camera once, the lens damages but nothing seemed wrong with camera body at the time. So, I sold the lens after sent to Nikon for repair, and bought new one. Then this issue.
Could it be because of the sensor also damage without I knowing it? Dirty sensor? ETC.
I know for the fact that there shouldn't be a problem with a lens because I just bought brand new unopened from local store. I am suspecting at the camera body, dirty sensor, etc. Do you have any suggestion I should try? Tried to to clean sensor, resulted from F22, + -0, at colored background doesn't show any dust.
Please help..
