Dimage X or Casio Exilim

Im wanting an ultra compact camera, I was wondering which is better the minolta or the casio.

Easy answer, the Dimage X. It has a real 3x zoom, flash and optical viewfinder.

I don't think it's quite so simple and clearcut. The Dimage is definitely a better camera, but the Exilim is considerably smaller. The decision probably depends on how the original poster expect to use the camera. If he wants an ultra small camera and is willing to sacrifice image quality for size, then the Casio may be a better choice.

The Exilim also has a flash and an optical viewfinder, plus it is $100 less expensive and, as has been pointed out, it is smaller than the Dimage X. It all depends what Mr. Barnett values most.

Cheers guys, I'm thinking the casio would be the one but was wondering how much difference there is in image quality?
