NEX 5N EVF v. LCD monitor

Being unable to decipher relevant info, I would ask the following:

UPON INSTALLING the (optional) EVF on the 5N body, does the touchscreen LCD monitor continue to depict capture parameters?

The reason I ask the question is that I would prefer to make my choices/rely on the screen's indications, for convenience purposes, and then exclusively use the EVF, for framing (old habits difficult to forget...).

The EVF has an eye-sensor: when you put your eye to it, it automatically turns off the LCD.

putting the evf on enables additional options in the menu, im sure one of them is for lcd/evf switching
