So it's FF for me now

Couple that w/ the knowledge of how much a D2 is now worth, w/ the fact that it was once worth over $5,200...
Just look at the receipt, that usually does it for me ;)
I just relate it all to the fact that I used to buy film in 100' rolls, and today the cost of processing film would be about 50 cents a shot. Every 10,000 clicks I can afford a brand new top of the line DSLR!

F*CK MironV. my friend already handed his @ss to him a while back ...Go back to your hole mironv. LMAO!

Nikon forever... Babe!

But did you really need 1/4000 second for taking that shot?

I mean, going down to 1/2000 and you would have been able to go down one stop in iso as well giving an even cleaner shot.

Agree, also the shot doesn't actually work. The football is totally cut off. Our eyes are led down the footballer to nothing. Sorry! YMMV.

It was a test where I cycled through the high ISOs to see the performance. Here is one at ISO 12800...

... and here is one at the "emergency/papparazzi setting" ISO 102 400

Later I made prints, and they looked even better in regard to noise vs how they look on a computer screen.

I am well aware of that - it was the low level of noise at extreme ISOs I wanted to show. Here is another high ISO (dont remeber if it was ISO 16000 or 25600) with the whole ball.
