A35 vs A65

Hey folks, im selling my new Hx100v to get more out of my images, and while hx100v is fun its obviously cant compete with a dslr. My dilemma is if i should get A35 with a good lens, or the A65 with the kit lens. I'd like to shoot some video also, but both should be able to do that decently, except the A65 should be superior here.

I guess what im asking is, what A35+good lens beat the A65 with kit lens in terms of image quality?

I bought the A35 and i'm quite happy with it. The EVF is great so I don't miss the better one from the A65.

Hi!, May I ask where was your A35 manufactured? Mine was made in Thailand. I noticed that the eyepiece of my A35 was made of plastic and it scrapes against my eyeglasses whenever I use the EVL. I had to replace it with a FDA-EP8AM eyepiece cup which is made of some kind of rubber.

The main advantage of the A65 over the A35 is not photo quality but the use of the much better OLED EVF instead of a cheapy regular EVF.

Not liking its EVF of the A55 (same as A35) was the reason I gave my A55 to my daughter and decided to continue to using my A700 instead.

I will say... Wait until the A65 is available in the stores and compare its EVF's before deciding. But again... The A35 is much cheaper if you can work with its cheap P&S quality EVF.

The one BIG drawback of the A35 for my is the fixed LCD. Deal breaker. The A33 would be a good alternative if it had the extra goodies the A35 has .. but then I guess you would be talking about the A55 int hat case.
