I was very interested to know what lens was used as well because of the technical qualities of your shots, so I did a search and you mentioned getting the 12mm for your trip in Europe
What I see in those images is excellent contrast, no noticeable fringing and excellent sharpness in center frame, but relatively week corner performance.
Compared to my 11-22, the 12mm seems to have better contrast and better sharpness in center frame, and much reduced fringing. The 11-22 does not have perfect corners either but its performance does not vary drastically across the field.
Assuming these images were taken with the 12mm, they definitely demonstrate the issues involved with high levels (> 5%) of digital distortion correction. While still an excellent lens for most uses, I could think of better lenses for landscape photography.
Single Point AF...Center or Spot Metering usually off the sky...love the sky colors Oly puts out...
STILL learning...
Wife is shooting with a NEX 5N and 18-55 and is really enjoying it...could not get her interested in m43...she has a great eye so I'm expecting some great phots from her as well...
