First off, I am a very average user of the E-PL2. I don't take much time thinking about the frame / exposure before I make the shot. I do think about it, but I often find myself wanting the action more.

Anyway, these were taken whilst I was walking around in Shanghai in a Sunday afternoon. Nothing spectacular, just want to share that I still love my E-PL2. Pics had been messed about in LR.

The place where you share one telephone number with the whole estate. You have to come out and get your own call.

I was having lunch upstairs. Downstairs was booked for a Kid's birthday party.

My lady. PPed using the skills mentioned by another poster whom I forgot his name.

some weird dancing there

Thanks for watching.

really very nice.

Gary, you have nothing to be ashamed of here.

I especially like the semi-wide angle portrait- and I am not a fan of that type of shot. Here it worked with her features, haircut and sideways glance. Did you pose her that way or just "catch" her that way?

Well done.

It is obvious that you do not suffer from trigger heisitaiton as your timing was perfect.

she was doing her self-portrait using her iPhone and I kind of caught that moment.

Ah ha! an infinitely regressive candid shot!

Well done!

Actually, some of he best shots I and my daughter have gotten is when the subject has been posing for someone else's camera!

Yes indeed. The fact that their postures and eyes are focusing away from your camera makes a nice moment to catch!

Your pictures remind me old Shanghai, not just skyscrapers

Great pictures from a very interesting city!

The last one seems to be from HongKong though? Which is also a very interesting city.
Good eye--it appears that Nathan Road (a famous HK road) is the name of the shop. They even use the HK street sign as the shot sign. But the appearance of simplified characters in other areas indicates China.

I like hanging out in the old areas when im looking for photo opportunity as they normally give you more "stories" behind the photos.

Good observation! I am from Hong Kong and that's why I took this picture. Nathan Road is the name of the shop. you will find some hong kong touches here and there in shanghai.

very nice, gary! #1 and #3 has an interesting and refreshing "old" look, almost old film look about them, very fitting for older part of shanghai for #1. would love to shoot shanghai one day as well!
