Recently repaired 17-55 IS lens is now getting complements for visible sharpness from online galleries. Before repair the lens must have been slowly loosing fine control on focus and I never noticed the change rate was so slow. Now looking at the images the improvement is readily visible. Canon repair service gets an A+ on this job. Clean lens, tightened zoom, sharper more reliable low light focus on a 60D even in smoky clubs.

EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM. I have a bad habit of zipping from short to long as fast as I can rotate the barrell and snapping almost at the same time. Hard on the lens and motor.

Ah, right... I know exactly what you mean. :) It's a bad habit I have been guilty of myself. Good to know that the service was so successful though.
