Where are people getting their E-P3 in the US?

None of the shops here in San Diego have it (or even plan on getting it), and it seems to be out of stock at B&H and Adorama. Amazon only has it at inflated prices through third party vendors. I guess one can order directly from Olympus, but I haven't heard many good things about that option.

I got mine at 17th St photo in NYC and it looks like they have the black one with the 17mm lens in stock. I've never had any problem buying from Olympus directly - just got an EPL3 from them a week and a half or so ago.

If you want slightly used, I'm ready to sell mine with the 14-42 - thought I'd wait until after the hurricane to list it in case we lose power. You can PM me if interested. But if you want new, I wouldn't worry about ordering direct from the Olympus store.

. . . I used Paypal to order my E-PL3 from Olympus USA three days ago at about 2 pm with overnight shipping and received it by FedEx before noon the next day and I'm satisfied enough to probably buy from them again.

My local camera store had it the other day.

Thanks. Good to hear about some positive experiences buying direct from Olympus.

Got mine from Olympus.

Money can't buy happiness....It has to be converted into photo equipment first.

Last week I stopped in my local store (Hunts in Melrose, MA) and they had both E-P3's and E-PL3's:

The left and bottom cameras are E-P3's and the top, center, and right cameras are E-PL3's.

Wow I didn't realize the E-P3 was so much bigger. I mean I knew it from dimensions, but seeing it in the silver E-P3 vs the black E-PL3 is much more drastic a difference than I imagined.
