What does a blinking zero mean in the analog exposure scale in the viewfinder? Thom's book says that if you have menu #3 set to auto ISO adjustment and you are in Shutter Priority or Manual, a blinking zero means that the ISO is being boosted.

I have #3 turned off and I get a blinking zero in P, S, A, but not M. What do it mean?

Doesn't anyone know? This is driving me nuts!

Thanks.

Robin, I think the answer to your problem is found on page 86 of the D100 manual and its really no big deal as you will find. Regards

Thanks. It seems that it blinks if CSM #10 is ON, even when no compensation value is set. Seems like it should only flash when a value is set. As is, it is rather useless as an alert.
