The SRW format

easy way is to get a hex editor and look for the start of the raw and deduct than from the lenghth of the file or use a tool like exiftool and use the "strip byte counts" figure for the value of len. The first three lines are always blank on the nx100 so I skipped those for my value just in case anyone asks.

Does Adobe's DNG converter work with the Samsung RAW format. I only have vintage point and shoot digital cameras that produce RAW files (Canon, Sony, Fuji, Olympus) but Adbobe Bridge/Photo Downloader in my ancient Photoshop Elements 6 does a nice job of the conversion-and, of course, I still maintain the original propietary formats. I have old computers, but would also mention that the latest version of Nikon's free View NX2 is a much improved program.

Yes, you can use the DNG converter, this opens up the files for processing in many programs, including Photoshop Elements.
