Is this Sony SDHC card worth it?

I have a chance to buy this Sony brand 16GB class 4 SDHC card for $5 shipped (new) but I don't know if it's too slow to be useful with the NEX-3.

I want another high-capacity SDHC card for my cameras, but I don't want to waste $5 if this card makes the NEX-3 run slow (either in terms of video, shot-to-shot time, or continuous/burst speed).

Is anyone here using this card with a Sony NEX-3 or NEX-5?

Is the speed/performance of this card okay?

Don't know this particular card, but given that it has a brandname and a reputable seller, I would trust the specifications.

Class 4 should work fine with the NEX. Sony specifies Class 4 for the NEX.

Class 4 is 4MB per second minimum write speed - it should keep up with the HD video format, even on a NEX-5.

Only in burst mode, you may notice a lag (write) time after you finish the shot.

E.g. 6 pics at 5MB = 30MB and will take 8 seconds to write.

Class 6 at 6MB per second would take this down to 5 seconds.

No, it's from a legit retailer. I have some leftover rewards points and I can either get this card or a pair of headphones with the rewards points I have plus a few bucks.

I'm just trying to decide if this relatively slow card is worth it or if I should just get a pair of headphones instead.
