Hey guys,
Just want to share some pics of my first sightings of marine life.
I dived in Kapas for almost a year now.
Every weekend since 3 months back.
The best thing about diving is there's always something new.
Even a small island like Kapas there's still a lot to be discovered.

This is a BORNELLA ANGUILLA.
I quote this from a magazine

"..photographing a bornella anguilla is every underwater photographer's wet dream.."
Im sure some of you divers know that.

Then there's also a Spanish Dancer. Very hard to come by.

Cheers

Those are super sharp shots and great colours. You have the edge over us non divers in that you have another world to get shots from.

What camera and settings please?

Oh White Rose
skin of alabaster
picturesque
in winters thrall,

I beseech you
smile on all that look,
and honour your essence.

sorry i forgot to put what camera i use.
I use an Oly XZ1 with the pt50 underwater casing and a single underwater strobe.
I always use the same settings for macro.
The settings are 1/320 iso100 f5.6 and underwater strobe set to manual.

Well done - which Olympus camera did you use? The EXIF does not say.

Thanks for posting. You clearly know how to make the best of the XZ1.
Care to show more?

Hey mayr,

Those are stunning shots. I'd like to decorate my house with the colors in the first one.

I saw a slug in my garden yesterday, never thought to take a photo!

Next time I will...

That's the thing, sea slugs is a great subject to photograph since there a lot of species and genus unlike land slug/snails.
Thanks for sharing these great shots, meyr!
