Hello!
I thought i'd share this tip with you. I havent seen this trick here before, but I could have missed it.
I created a new rubber / silicone thingie for my E-1 grip. I damaged mine a little when opening the camera to fix the card door latch.
Sure I could have glued the old one (I saved it) or have created a new one in black.
But I like colorful items, so just because I can:
It looks in reality better than in the picture.
I used a product called 'sugru' , it comes in all kinds of colors, and it is not difficult to create the grip thingies. I think it may be a bit less grippy than the e-1 original, but much more grippy than the one on the e-30 or e-520.
Maybe I should have picked a more conventional color... I think green would be nice too.
Anyway, the orange on the lens hood, is utterly useless. But I thought it looked cool, and this lens never leaves this camera anyway.
