Can't wait for it to come in. Ordered it with the D7000 Kit over 1 1/2 months ago. The kit lens has since been sold and replaced with a Tamron 28-75 non-BIM. I have been patient on the 35mm since I paid $179 US for it. Come on FEDEX!!

Where did you order?

I ordered mine through Adorama for $192 in March. I have gotten the backorder message a couple times and their site now shows it is selling for $280. I guess you just get in early and wait your turn.

Great to hear they might be flowing to the market, gives me hope.

Amazon has it in stock right now, 199

Advising Roland Vink or new lens serial numbers is very useful for getting an idea of numbers of any lens sold.
Note the site is updated once a month if checking serial numbers.

Good photography is mainly about doing simple things well. The challenge is doing simple things well enough for good results.

This lens is smaller than I thought and oh so quiet. Nice bokeh as compared to the 85mm f/1.8d I used for a few days. I can see my self enjoying this lens.

This one was in the car, while mom and sister were getting groceries.
