Show us your shot which contains as little as possible in terms of structure or content.

But it should be something that makes sense. A ***** black picture telling us that this is Paris on a power blackout is not what I mean.

This is OOC.
D300 + Tamron 90mm Macro.

Right now with my Nikon gear only 1:1 is possible since I don't have extension tubes or bellows, so here are two samples.

My right eye. Not really 1:1, but it is a self portrait, taken at work.

This pen is about 1:1 magnification.

The eye shot is great !!!

Especially since the focus is spot on. I guess you wanted the window (and beyond) to be in focus and not the iris.

thanks for sharing

my post was meant slightly different :
I was asking for an image that contains as little color/structure as possible.
but anyway ... it's a cool picture and that's what counts.

Love the Tamron macro...sorry I ever sold it.

Not the type of photography I typically engage in, but I'll play. Though the picture doesn't have to be macro to qualify, and given that yourr shot far surpasses mine in minimalistic perspective, I'll offer the first quick snapshot I took recently with my new (to me) 105mm Dine macro (a handheld, pop-up flash picture of the lens cap) ...

Not even a complete fish!

Very much like oly's...this was an accidental shot, it wasn't until I zoomed in on his eye that I saw the detail.

Cool. Very nice image. Though, mine was not an accident, it was carefully planned and is not cropped.
