Hi everyone,

I am the owner of an NX100 as of this afternoon. Went and purchased one after a lot of reading and trying out cameras in the store. Came close to purchasing the Pen EPL-1, which was the same price as the NX100 ($499). Bottom line, both cameras give terrific image quality. The feel of the NX, the better performance, and the marginally better high ISO were the deciding factors for me. The Oly felt a little clunky in my hands, a little sluggish in performance. Samsung is releasing some new fast primes in 2011, so they seem committed to the NX line. I-function I just loved every time I tried it. Battery is charging right now, can't wait to start using it. I need to pick up a nice leather half-case too. I already feel good about the decision and know I'll be happy with the camera. I'll post some pics and an update in a couple of days.

Because I tried to 'Like' your post. Heh.

Good luck and have fun! Post pics! As two new NX100 owners, it's our job to get the word out - there's not too many NX folks around these parts... :)

I am hoping Samsung starts to market this product more aggressively when they put out the NX200, which I am guessing may happen as soon as late spring/summer? I think they are on to something with this type of approach-mirrorless, APS-C sensor, small form factor. My hope is that I can replace my DSLR system once a few improvements are made. For now, I am happy to learn my new camera and enjoy the terrific picture quality in such a small package. But this forum is a bit of a ghost town...hopefully that changes soon :)

I ordered a half case from ebay for $25. Fake leather, but looks good in the pics.
