very nice construction tho, easy pivot/up/down/turn action

cons: slight uneven lighting, left lower corner very slightly darker, not noticed when looking at pics
resolution still not high enough for my eyes, i sit like 30inch from it

dont know why but burns my eyes kind of feeling
still feels too wide for desktop especially web browsing

having trouble calibrating it by eye, compensating too easily, then when you go away and come back you see the screen is off... on adobergb setting seems too blue

I like mine, but I have brightness down to almost zero and calibrate it for 80cd/m2: it depends how bright your working environment is (mine is not). It is part of a dual monitor setup and I use the other for anything but photo viewing/editing.

I see the red and green too.... now I know I'm not 'seeing things'. I recently received the U2711 and when I work on b/w photo restorations, sometimes I think I'm seeing a slight red at top and green at bottom. I thought I was imagining it.

[Although... I could be seeing the red/green because of my monitor! LOL]

Dell monitors apparently have some issues. I'm disappointed.
