Panasonic GH2 Time lapse with Pixel TC-252 intervalometer and soft grad ND 0.6 filter

I have made my first time-lapse with the Panasonic GH2, a Manfrotto tripod, Pixel TC-252 remote timer, ND soft grad 0.6 filter.

Unluckily I forgot to lock autofocus. I used the kit lens 14-42, one photo every 10 seconds.

great execution; just surprised at how much the boats move..in time lapse i think if you just have 1 item moviing (ie clouds) instead of 2 it may be more powerful...

It may be, I'm still trying... the boats move quite a lot. I would also like to capture the tide, even if in the mediterranean it is not that big. I would say that many times when you look at the video afterwards you see movements that you did not notice while you where actually shooting, and this is part of the entertainment.

there is a guys selling the TC252 on ebay at the moment for £40 and it appears to be an absolute gem of a device.
Loved some of your videos, and these have convinced me to buy one now.

The one from mimosa hill - there appears to be a frame flick every 10 seconds or so - what is this? is it an exposure adjustment or a video reference frame?

As you point out there is so much going on, its so busy that you see details that you missed out previously. I totally focused on the wors hontjie (sausage dog) in the carpark brilliant!

Lastly any chance that you would care to share your experience with the software? what did you use etc?

I appreciate you were mostly just experimenting with the new equipment, so I understand you're probably not trying to create the most compelling piece, but as I watched it I found myself saying "Well this is fine, but why not save the hassle, record some video footage and speed up the playback?"

Good effort. I want to do some time lapse myself, so I appreciate reading posts like yours.

This is one of the best uses I've seen of time lapse with m43. Don't be afraid to move the camera, too!

Just got mine in the post and a good bit of kit, only issue is the software needs a bit more intelligence than I can throw at it.

Anyone care to share what software they are using for time lapse and what settings, export file etc?
