It is Friday already and time for the Pix for the weekend. As always all Sigma cameras are welcome and please label your post so that comments can be properly directed. Now go out and work off your frustrations about SD1 not being available yet by shooting photos with 'what ever' Sigma camera you already have; and by all means have some fun.

Had a walk through Salisbury Cathedral Close yesterday - lovely afternoon light for a change.

Firstly Malmesbury House - Sundial added in 1749 (but seems to be running slow compared with exif). The quotation on the sundial is from Macbeth. In the gatehouse (out of shot but immediately to the right, Handel gave his first UK gig - 1739!)

Gargoyles are from the West Front of the Cathedral.
Just good to be out again on a sunny day!

Here are mine for the weekend. The first, a photo of an orchid, was taken earlier in the week at the Botanical Gardens and processed today. Shot with the SD14 and the 70-300 mm APO lens. The second was shot today at a local park in the cold, overcast sky and light snow falling ..brr. SD14 and the 20 mm F:1.8 lens.

SD14 - ISO 200 1/5 sec : arm duopod on a shaky table
"developed" today

I know that its far from being perfect but today, it gives me pleasure - this is more than enough to me

I shot a wedding at this location yesterday. It was an absolutely beautiful setting and the approaching clouds looked ominous, but there wasn't much rain, just a few showers.

Shot with the DP1.

I hope to head out that way again later in the week, if I get time.

That is a remarkable photograph Lazlo: The colors are intense and the detail in the window and cloth is outstanding. Thanks for sharing. This looks like a 50 mm macro lens shot, nes pas?

The Potomac water was high and rather wild yesterday at Great Falls... no kayakers in sight! We were on the Virginia side looking towards Maryland, walking on a warm, sunny late afternoon with our new dog Zoe. I had the SD14 set at ISO200 (an unintentional setting, but at least it brought up my shutter speed), sunlight wb. 28-70mm EX lens.

Processed in SPP4 and I let the SPP program set the color wheel on the photos. Two DP2 shots as well, sunlight wb, processed in landscape color mode.
