D90 - Best setting

I would like to hear what are your recommended setting for the D90:

Exposure mode: matrix, Center-Weighted (6,8,10) or Spot?
Exposure compensation (EV): + - or 0.0?
AF-area mode: Single point, Dynamic area or Auto area?
Center focus point: Normal zone or Wide zone?
Active D-lighting: Auto, Extra high, High, Normal, low or off?
Autofocus mode: AF-S, AF-C or AF-A?

Please don't take this as a slam, but you need to study up on photography and cameras. There is no one answer to that question, it depends on what you're looking at and what you want to do with/to it!

It's like you've been driving a car with an automatic transmission, but now you've bought a sports car with a stick shift and you're asking us what gear you should leave it in, LOL.

There is no "recommended setting". Different settings are good for different photography situations. WHY ELSE WOULD NIKON MAKE IT SO YOU COULD CHANGE THEM!??!?!!?

This is what I normally use. You will almost certainly prefer something else once you understand what every setting does, but you asked us what we do so I guess here goes:

I don't recommend these settings, I just prefer them

6mm Spot

Exposure compensation (EV): + - or 0.0?

No EC

AF-area mode: Single point, Dynamic area or Auto area?

Single Point

Center focus point: Normal zone or Wide zone?

Normal

Active D-lighting: Auto, Extra high, High, Normal, low or off?

Off

Autofocus mode: AF-S, AF-C or AF-A?

AFS

The best setting for the D90 is "ON."
