Just for fun: a sleek new tug, a well used skin diving boat and a sailboat searching for a puff of air late in the afternoon.

Very nice. Can't tell which I like more, the first or the last. The first is so colorful, sharp and crisp. The last has a very peaceful mood to it.

Thanks (och tack) for looking guys. Just trying to add to the variety (& fun) here. They were all casual ‘opportunity’ shots, although I had to jog a bit to catch the first two ‘in time’. The tug colors are a bit unusual here and caught my attention (svenska färger). The sailboat was a treat to catch in ’thirds’ coming towards me, and the sail is really beautiful to me with the light reflecting off the trailing edge of the mainsail and the quilted effect on the jib. The FZ35 proves itself in versatility - imho.

Just for fun,

Rick

Thanks for sharing those fine shots with us. I love photos of boats, ships - of anything that floats on the water... It took me some time to figure out what is wrong with second photo. The little mast on cabin top, does not belong there - right? Right, it belongs to a light beacon behind the boat, but it found itself in the line with the boat and your camera in moment when you pressed the shutter :-).

Do show us some more of your marine work.
Best regards... Bruno

Thanks Bruno. I was wondering if anyone would look close enough to see the 'fake mast' - it kind of blends in with the crazy cabin roof menagerie: compressor, generator(?)....... It is indeed the solar powered breakwater entrance warning beacon. That shot was very hasty, but I liked how the boat was 'put together'. About twenty+ divers have been working the marinas around here cleaning up some of the submerged refuse. I like the beauty and utility of the boating world too and look forward to shooting more of these.
