I saw the ZS7 at the Kirkland, WA Costco as well a few days ago, but at the Issaquah one they have the ZS6. If I remember correctly, the ZS7 was selling for $219 rather than $199 though.
 
Here's an even better deal. Abes of Maine is selling the blue for $214 and the other colors for a tad more, PLUS when you spend $200 or more, you get a $100 restaurant.com gift card. Use the code DINE200. I also hear there's a DINE100 code that gets you $100 restaurant.com gift card when you spend $100 or more which would get you a zs5 for $75. Btw, I believe the zs7 also has a faster max shutter speed of 1/2000 vs the 1/1300 in the zs5, and a higher res LCD screen in addition to the GPS feature.
 
The DINE100 code appears to be an error. The DINE200 code should be valid though -- I ordered directly by phone and got the promotion.

This has got to be the best deal going for any point and shoot on the market.
 
Just at Costco and they had stacks of ZS7 kits (yes the ZS7 with GPS). $229 less $30 in-store rebate + tax of course. Silver only though.

Frosted Mini Wheats are on sale too.
 
The poster is correct in saying the Panasonic ZS7 is $199.xx (before tax) at Costco. I bought a ZS7 (NOT a ZS6) Friday for that price plus sale tax and my brother bought one (a ZS7) Saturday at a different Costco warehouse for the same price.

Some but not all of the stores received shippments of the ZS7 in Silver a couple of weeks ago. They made a "kit" out of them by placing the ZS7 Panasonic box inside a plain white cardboard box along with a black leather(?) case, a 2 GB class 4 Panasonic branded SD card, and a coupon for up to 100 free prints and $5 off a photo book. The Costco number for tht Panasonic ZS7 is 563095.

Some stores also have the ZS6 with the same extras for 40 bucks less. That is a $40 reduction from what is was selling a few weeks ago.

The sale price on the blue model at Newegg and Amazon appears to have ended, so the Costco closeout may be the best deal going.

Does Costco ship cameras to your address OR do we have to actually visit them to buy a camera? If the answer is YES, then I'd appreciate it if someone kindly posted a link to one of the Costco locations in the USA which currently stocks the ZS7 kit (any color). The main website Costco.com does not seem to even list the ZS7.

Sometimes the website will list a product and sometimes in it's only in the stores. When it's more of a closeout item, it will typically only be in the stores.

Well, I did get a blue ZS7 at $214.99 from Amazon a few days ago... but no camera case and SD Card.

My wife now wants a ZS7 too for her personal use so I'd like to order one at Costco if I can... but I just can't seem to find a link to any Costco location yet.

This offer is not available for order from Costco.com - only in stores. And you can't order directly from a warehouse for shipment (they don't ship overseas anyway).
 
I picked up the last one at the main Seattle Costco last night - the display model. I had a Costco rebate check of $70 to use, so it really only cost me about $150 after tax. Not a bad deal at all!
 
I have to admit I was skeptical when people reported seeing the zs7 in costco for $199. However I was in my local costco this afternoon and lo and behold there was the zs7 for $199.99 w/case and SD card. From the looks of it they had a bunch of them.

That superb offer does not seem to be available anymore. I just clicked on the above link and it shows a price of $229.79... which is also a great price by the way!

Thanks a ton! Just completed ordering one more! I'm not currently in the USA, so I got it shipped to my local USA address. After it reaches my USA address it will be air-couriered to me in India.
