Someone somewhere has a gallery of Newcastle upon tyne apparently taken with the S2. It was posted on some uk photo library site freephotos or something, only low res high compression files were available for free viewing though.

I had an e-mail from 'Berridge Mail' this afternoon regarding my S2 order. They told me that Fuji confirmed there is a small shipment coming into the UK on the 5th of August. But I shall believe it only when I physically have that camera in my hands.

Seems they are as rare as hen's teeth!!
Decided Sunday to get one, phoned around Monday and picked it up Tuesday - and they had it in 5 days previous to that!
What a bit of luck.

I had mine on order with Bonsers in Newcastle upon Tyne for months.
I was very happy when they recieved one last Friday and my name was top of the waiting list
I was also very surprised to see one in the window of Fenhams in Newcastle upon tyne on Saturday afternoon gone!
I don't know if they still have it - you could call and see 0191 232 9866
As to the camera...
I am very happy - Metering is much better than the S1
Like the veiwfinder ... and the ISO 100 speed
Dust is still a problem.
The CCD was spotless when I picked the camera up
After 500 images, and never having taken the lens of, specks are starting to appear on the image from dust on the CCD
Looks like I am going to have to keep it clean with SensorSwabs,
just like the S1
One of these days someone will sort the CCD dust problem out
A friend who is a TV camerman has to clean the CCD on his professional video camera every week!
