I have a canon 50 1.8, sigma 30 1.4, Canon 50 1.4, canon 18-55, canon 10-22, canon 18-135, canon 70-200 2.8 IS. 2 580EX II, T2i and a 7D. Bought the T2i for my wife and kids to shoot with, my wife especially is loving it.

Should I sell the 50mm 1.4 and keep the nifty 50. I have the Sigma which is my fave. I have it on 75% of the time. Which puts it at a true 50mm and it is crystal clear. So which 50 should I keep?

I've had the 50 f/1.4, and the 50 f/1.8, and if it were me, I'd sell the 50f/1.8. The f/1.4 is a better lens, overall. Yes, the IQ is similar, but the built, IQ, contrast, etc... (at least for me), made me like the f/1.4 better. Just my opinion. Also, you could probably also sell the 18-55 if you wanted, as you seem to have a pretty good line of zooms. Just a thought. If I am you, I would sale both of the 50mm(50mm is too close to 30mm) and buy a 85mm F/1.8 and use it when I don't want to carry the 70-200 .

Thanks for the solid inputs, I was just thinking about selling the 50 1.4 and keeping the nifty. and selling both the 18-55 and 18-135 and buy a good solid prime. 85mm sounds very enticing. But which one to get the 1.8 or 1.2. Also can I go wrong with a 24-70mm L, seems like this is one of the more popular lens professionals use.

If you want to replace the "walk around" zoom too, then I recommend 17-55(24-70 doesn't have IS) but I heard a lot of good thing about the new 15-85 but I don't have it so I can't say anything about it. About the 85mm L lens, if you have money and you think you can take advantage of it then go for it, but I would go with the 1.8 because it is much cheaper and I like it before I sold it to save up and buy the new 70-200. Good luck
