Hi,
I'd like to take some low light shots (like in a bar), mostly of people. But it's hard to auto focus. The focus will hunt sometimes when it's dark, or if the focus point lacks contrast. Is there a setting on the T1i that allows you to use the flash (either onboard or hot shoe flash) to help focus? I thought there would be, but I've never really had occasion to use it like that.
I don't want the actual picture to be taken with the flash, only for auto focus to use flash assist. But I don't know what settings are required.
I have a Canon T1i, kit lens, as well as Sigma 30mm f1.4 and Canon 50mm f/1.8 prime.
Thanks for any advice.
