A few S95 real world test shots

Had my S95 for a few weeks now, and have been playing with it quite a bit. I thought I'd kill two birds with one stone here, and test out the gallery capabilities of dpreview, and post a few shots from a recent trip I took with my kids to Dorney Park in PA. (We live like 10 minutes from there). The conditions were mostly daylight, but varied a bit. I must say, coming from using a DSLR full time, this little camera does a nice job. I'm very, very happy with it at this point!

Nice shots and great IQ, thanks for posting.

Assuming these were shot JPEG, what were your color settings? I just got my S95 two days ago and the colors of my first shots seem a bit garish to my eye, so I've turned down the color to "neutral" -- I need to do more testing, hope mine turn out as well as yours.

These were shot JPG. Defaults for color settings, on the cam. The only real post I did was some cropping. These aren't full size of course, but even chopped down to 1024x1024, I'm still pretty happy with the look.

Thanks, and yeah, regarding the coaster. That's actually one of the smaller hills on the route back, and me in the front seat with my daughter, . It's a coaster called Steel Force at Dorney Park in Allentown PA.
