Justin, I think you should've added the magic word "E-5" to your title to attract attention today! ;)

Great lighting and compositions and creamy OOF areas as usual. Orie seems a bit less comfortable in front of the camera than most of your models, though; the poses are a bit stiff sometimes IMO. My favourites are # 5 of her face, and the last two night shots, where she seems relaxed and playing more to the camera. #10 I like too, but I think I'd clone out the orange light peeking through the leaves.

Thanks for showing some pics during E-5 craze!

Cheers
Christa

A bit pressed for time, so you will forgive me for just agreeing with Christa.

The night shots are my favourites too.

That red top suits her better than the flowery dress. The romantic nature of that dress does not always fit well with the tattoo and the shoes.

Lighting is great and very natural looking, as usual.

That such great photography of someone so compelling to look at cannot compete with all of the hot air currently being pumped through this forum. Oh, those big brown eyes! Thanks for posting your pix of this lovely young lady. Rich

Justin, when you get the E-5, you will be able to show us how your ladies move.
You can grant me the concession to sell tickets.

Heh, thanks Christa, I fully expected this post to blow off the front page without comments, since I don't have E-5 or Sigma SD1 in the title. Cheers!

Hah, hey Roel, unless they start falling out of the sky, I don't see an E-5 in my future any time soon. I just think it's too much to pay for a body, and I've never been on the cutting edge of things. Maybe in a couple of years I'll pick one up. :D

I like #3, #6, #8, #9, #10, #11 [nt]

Great Pics! It's not the camera that makes the picture, it's the photographer that takes it.

The one thing about the E-5 I like is that I can now purchase an E-3. 10 megapixels is good enough for my work.

All great, but 6 & 10 are the schiz Justin, pretty gal. Was this a paid shoot, or a MM shoot?

I'm technically not a 'qualified professional photographer', but I play one online.....

Alright Justin! Excellent series with a seriously beautiful model. Thanks for posting. It's amazing what a competent photographer can do with a now obsolete E-3 in a format that no self-respecting professional would use. You're out making lovely images while all the nay-sayers are blowing smoke out of their ears. Your work speaks volumes. Let them put that in their APS-C crack pipes and smoke it!

I like about 1/2 the shots the others the light seems a bit off (low contrast or light not quite right). On the ones I like the light's pretty good! I like the last shot for example a lot. And she's very pretty (I have a mathematical algorithm that tells me).

Thanks for sharing.

Andreas Feininger (1906-1999) 'Photographers — idiots, of which there are
so many — say, “Oh, if only I had a Nikon or a Leica, I could make great
photographs.” That’s the dumbest thing I ever heard in my life. It’s
nothing but a matter of seeing, and thinking, and interest. That’s what
makes a good photograph.'

Thanks, 7 and 8 she's in light shade. One Vivitar 285HV thru umbrella cam L front, and one Vivitar 285HV in a bounce umbrella cam L rear. The bounce umbrella was a bit close and more intense than I wanted it, as I'm not used to working with them as much as shoot-thrus.
