cleaning Canon G11 lens

probably the best way is air or a lens pen. if its smudged thats a different story. try and make sure you dont smudge the lens or it will be much harder to clean because of the tiny real estate inside the barrel. rude

been a photographer since the late 70s. i should have picked a less expensive hobby but i love it to death. rude

there are water spots on top of the lens....i m scared now :( i just bought it a month back :(:(

you need to get a rocket blower to keep your camera & lens clean of dust. if your lens needs more care a lens pen works great. i keep both items [sm. blower] in my pockets when i go in the field. the standard giottos rocket blower is so handy for a million things around the house like keyboards or any electronics.

If you don't have any cleaning equipment, try breathing on it and quickly use a Qtip or cotton swab .....repeat a few times if necessary....otherwise, a small drop of lens cleaner on lens tissue and lightly swirl to remove the spots, then finish it off with a microfibre cloth.
