--Just wanted to share some photos taken with my G11 while visiting the Kings Head British Pub for the first time. Photos taken in between lunch and dinner so it was a good time to take photos without disturbing people. Shot RAW+JPEG mostrly ISO1600 indoors. Maybe one or two was ISO800. Precessed off of RAW for the most part as well as using Topaz software to finish the processing.
Hope you enjoy:

Grew up in Jax so it's nice to see shots from home. That is a cool place. Good fish and chips. Thanks for posting.

Hey JR,

It was a nice place to visit. I enjoy finding new place to explore and finding unique Establishments like this one to frequent and enjoy.

Now, I was never told I couldn't do a PANO indoors, so I guess that's why I did it.
If I had been told I couldn't do that then I guess I would not have done it.
OK, now I am being silly. Of course I would have..LOL
Thanks for looking.. Just a little G11 user.
Nice tour, thanks for sharing. Looks like a place I would enjoy visiting. That's the first indoor pano I remember seeing.

how do u do a pano in G11??

nice pics..not sure how it wud have come up, but can u take the bust full frontal and add more saturation tomorrow ? :) :)

just a suggestion, i am no expert..just a beginner on g11 :)

Fun photos but I'm a bit worried about the red bus - nothing wrong with your photo but the bus needs a good clean and probably a thorough service! As a Brit it pains me to see a red bus in such poor condition.

Yup.

I didn't take any photos of the inside because it was in very poor condition. It still had the seats from what I could see on the lower level but it was very dirty and had not been taken care of.. Its simply used as a landmark for the restaurant as well as the phone booth which there is no phone inside.

It is one of the most authentic British Pubs I have found near me as far as I can tell.

I am not into the strip mall type establishments as much as I enjoy stand alone buildings designed from the inside out with a specific theme.
Thats all for commenting..

...but unfortunately the fish & chips look all too authentic when you think what we are offered in Britain these days in many pubs. I'd still rather have my fish & chips from a true, old fish & chip shop.

Hey Gail..

I processed from RAW off of my G11.. However I was thinking the same thing on the outdoor shots... I did used some USM on the web photos and should have not used any at all.. The full res imaged look much better to me on my monitor than the web version..... I tried something different where I used Topaz DEJPEG and I think I still need some tweeking to get it right when producing final JPEG's with different file sizes..
I welcome any comments or suggestions regarding this.
Plus all the images have been run through Topax Adjust as well.
Again, still working on this new work flow with this software.

I may in the future repost some of these images and ask for comments from the current ones posted and the new ones with a different adjustment.
I am so used to using just Photoshop and this Topaz does take getting used too.
Thanks for your comment...

What an interesting and colorful place. Very lovely photos.

Maybe it's just the nature of the scenes with a lot of different textures, but some of them look slightly oversharpened on my monitor. Have you increased in-camera sharpening?
