Washing.

Yes the colours are great Digby lee

'washing' is too mundane. There is a predominance of purples, reds and blues in what seems to be house robes. Obviously someone has a strong color preference. So I am going to call this one, 'Domestic Colours Unfurled.'

What a great shot, Digby. I really like the movement from right to left - simple to more complex designs. You have great eye for interesting subject matter.
Take care,
Daniel

interesting View, somehow I miss these too often.

lol @“Domestic Colours Unfurled”. It is important that a clean pyjama wardrobe reflect ones readiness should a bus load of youthful pointy chested blonde nymphomaniacs land on ones doorstep some evening. No matter the odds, always be prepared I say. :D

I guess when taken at wide-angle, this "Washing" wouldn't look much, would it?

Filling the whole frame, now it is THE subject matter. You have captured an everyday-life shot that many would have missed. Good idea.

Thanks Daniel. :D The brilliant Icelandic shots by Luis Castañeda posted by Panasonic to promote the new Lx5 inspired me to seek colour in a new way. After some pondering, in camera saturation set to max and deliberate underexposure seemed a good beginning, this was the backup shot which as usual turned out better.

Thanks Dov. :D Within the scene of biblical carpenter, wife and infant the closest part befitting me would be the donkey, yes even a donkey in pyjamas to match Josephs robes.

What a wonderfully humble image those four set, humbleness that is as remarkable in its inception some two thousand years ago, as it is remarkable in its clarity of enduring meaning for the two thousand years since.

Best wishes to you too Dov.

Thanks Bellefield. :D I see by your signature that you are amused by the cleverness of Oscar Wilde as he profoundly cements notions of existential subjectivity, I wonder as an artist if he was convincing us or himself.
