A nice series ... but if you weren't going for low key images, then I suggest that you check the gamma on your monitor ... these are really dark ...

There is a certain dark mood to the series. I think it might be intentional especially with the yellow mum in the muddy water, and the discarded buds of roses and marigolds. If so, then I think you have succeeded in your message.

Ya i know the images are little dark.. but it was intentional.. This was the first time i was using RAW so thought of tweaking the pictures to a particular tone.. Thanks for the suggestion though.. I'll try to correct the gamma..

just thought of experimenting that way.. I have seen some movies recently which have similar kind of color scheme.. so was trying to mimic that.. that's why i re sized the pictures to HD aspect ratio and put a black border to them...
