1 It wont fall off!
2 May be a bit of a pain when you have to remove the base plate
3 Looks solid
4 Uses tripod socket, again could be a pain if you use a tripod
5 Expensive for what it is (£29)
6 You don't have 'stick' it on
7 It is easily removable
8 Perhaps it would get in the way of the buttons?
9 I have ordered one
10 Am I wasting my money :(

I won't go as far as saying you're wasting your money, that only you can decide, more so once you receive and use it.

Personally I wouldn't buy one. It does change the body makeup enough to be annoying for me, and you're constantly going to be aware it's there. But it certainly looks like the best protection for your LCD, if you're 'that' concerned about it.

Giotto Aegis. 12 layer muticoated Schott glass. Less fussy and cheaper ($20 USD.) And will not snag when you pull the camera out of it's case or camera bag.

It's not what camera you use, it's how you use it.

this is a fine product
Schott glass, multicoated
got one for my M9 after using one with great satisfaction on another camera
unfortunately it is made of glass

mine cracked when I had the M9 about my neck getting onto a subway car in Toronto
I bounced off my metal belt buckle

after reading about disasters attempting to remove it, I decided to leave it in place

we all know that the LCD isn't all that great on the M9 & the cracks add a bit of character
