Hi, I just both ZS3 today. I use Nikon D40 as my portrait, low light, action camera. But I need some small, camera with good focal range, decent IQ and HD video. Last year I had LX3, which I enjoyed a lot, but sold it to buy Nikon D90. D90 is very nice camera, but I enjoyed LX3 more. So, I was looking G11, but it is big for everyday camera. I sae some very good pictures from TZ7 and decided to try it. I like size of camera, screen, zooming while movie recording. IQ is decent (I will not try to pixelpeep).

Anyway, here are my few first pictures from this afternoon. I hope You will like them. I also tried suplied panorama software. It is easy to use it.

Bigger panorama is here:

Great photos, Djordje.

I need to buy me a compact camera one of these days, but I just can't decide which one to buy - heh. Was thinking of ZS3 or F200 or F70... Farts in stores in Belgrade won't let me try any of'em - lol.

Had LX3 with me for 2 days and it was mighty hard to part from it. I have no idea how could you sell such a great camera - hehe. I was in pain when I had to return LX3. If I ever rob a bank and not get caught I'll get it again or it's successor if it comes out - lol.

ZS3 is producing great photos during the day, which is evident here too. Agree with the guy above that it has found a good home.

It's not stupid; it's advanced.

Thanks Ivanhoe. Thats the problem of almsost all stores in Belgrade. Fortunately here is internet and it is easy to see how cameras performs in different conditions. I mainly bought this camera for daily walk, for video, and for work (I often need to pictures some instalations in buildings, and long zoom will help me to capture some details that are not easy to reach).

Well, I didnt try it in that conditions, but I bought it mainly for outdoor pictures. I am sure that static scenes are not problem, but, I am also interested in opinions and suggestions about indoor photography with ZS3 with and without flash with moving objects.

I did some research in to this and it performs better than others up to 400 iso, gets grain at 800 iso but still ok for small prints, flash is stronger than my old tz3 and iso performance is better, also there are some samples on here, do a search on tz7 and zs3 (same camera)

regards Keith
