--The G2 has remained pretty high up in the interest hit ranking on DPR weeks after its introduction so expect comments but camera only just now available so just wait a couple weeks. I expect there will be a lot posts once DPR posts a review of the G2. There have been several very complimentary foreign reviews of the G2 and G10 which you might find interesting in the meantime.

--Just take a look at the new thread entitled G2 Picture and someone has posted some very good examples of a radio controlled car taken anywhere from ISO 100 to ISO 6400. In my opinion the bright vivid colors, resolution, and IQ look good for at least ISO 1500. See for yourselves.

I've only had my G2 for a couple of days, so too soon for any in depth comments. I liked the G1 very much and it has now been converted for IR use. The G2 has some new features that I really like (touch focus point is nice for tripod use and a simple wheel push (like the GF1) for focus assist when using the EVF. Image quality seems to be excellent, as it was for the G1. There are a few flower shots at the link below taken with the G2, kit lens, and a couple of Contax G MF lenses. All shot in raw and processed in LR2.7 with the default Adobe camera profile. I will eventually profile the camera with the lenses I use most often, but for now the Adobe color looks OK.
