Might be impossible to port, if it uses the Apple OS X inbuilt raw profiles.....I know it isn't I was not even asking to open source it. I was merely offering my services as a Windows developer.

It doesn't...Might be impossible to port, if it uses the Apple OS X inbuilt raw profiles.....
Then if they're looking for donations for support, it would make sense to have a PC release. It doesn't...Might be impossible to port, if it uses the Apple OS X inbuilt raw profiles.....
Donations are not for support; they indicate interest and appreciation.if they're looking for donations for support
Possibly 90% of computers in general but not 90% of photographers.Shame. No offense Iliah, but keeping the software from over 90% of computer users doesn't seem like a logical decision. Shame...because I'd give it a try.
I got one of those as well, recently ;-)Glad to see others who appreciate RPP and the work that Andrey and Iliah have done.
It does cut a lot of time from post work. I use A100 for portraits, AX25 for black and white, and K64 for almost everything.I got one of those as well, recently ;-)
The TrueFilm simulation is a cool thing - it takes a lot of time to get the same look manually, at least for me. And I like what I get from using V50 or A100F for many scenes.
As the "big" raw processors work on my PC, I'd say it's equally lazy to have the processor only available to one computer system."big" raw processors to have lazy people working on them. (or indiferent?)
Sharing with others what was done for yourself is not lazy by any definition.it's equally lazy to have the processor only available to one computer system.
I yet have to try with portraits, so I'm curious to see what A100 will do. Btw, interesting to see different preferences. It does cut a lot of time from post work. I use A100 for portraits, AX25 for black and white, and K64 for almost everything.
If you want donations, I'd go after the 94% of the market instead of the 6%.I'll take that up with the author of RawTherapee for you if you like, as it only runs on Windows.
Cut him some slack. It's donation-ware.

It's not always about money...If you want donations, I'd go after the 94% of the market instead of the 6%.
That's one reason why I as a current Windows-only user is going to buy a Mac mini mainly for running RPP.Oh, and can't Macs run Windows software?
Then you should spend your time trying to write your own. You are wasting your time trying to convince them to do it your way.I'd go after the 94% of the market instead of the 6%.
... and vice versa too.Oh, and can't Macs run Windows software?
