Just did a ABW printing. Question, is there anyway to get the before and after photo to be the one that you are trying to print? That would really be a benefit. The one I just printed, I just added 5 to the brightness and it came out fine. Too bad the before and after are not what you are printing and a little larger.
Thanks, TomW(ret)

...a bad picture is like a missed putt, it's never your fault.

Try printing with the Dark setting rather than Epson's default Darker setting in the printer driver dialog. If this does not lighten it as it should try the normal setting.

Please read Eric Chans post on printing with ABW driver, although this is written for Pro 3800 a lot of it is applicable to R2400 and R2880 as well.

You can build custom profiles that allow you to soft proof with devices like Datacolors Studio Profile system or an i1 with Profile maker. Short of making a real profile, you can also print some 100 step scales with selct adjustments. You need to remember that not only do you have adjustment there in the Epson driver, but the media slection will come into play.
