British Touring Cars shots

Andy,

That's a great series. Bright and tack sharp. Hope I have same luck w/my 70-400G at the race track. We start racing season in two weeks weather permitting.
Again very impressive series and you say your landscape photographer, LOL.

Good shots Andy

how did you find the A900 70-400 combo for motorsport use? focus tracking in particular (assuming you used af and not manual prefocus)

One of the least appreciated forms of photography at DP Review. I think it's cuz there are no kitty cats in the picture. ;-)

I can appreciate these shots though. Nice group of images.

With these sports sedans, you could probably get down to 1/160th on the pans, and still come home with plenty of keepers. I usually shoot around 1/250th like you did, but I'm not that quick anymore and need all the help I can get.

Anyway, quite a change from nature photography, isn't it?

Great set - belies the view that the a900 is not a sports camera!

I been to BH a few times and always get a few shots I like:-

all with the A900 and 70-400ssm

Nice shots, but it was only the last one that had any particular sens of speed. Try a bit longer panning.

Nope, it's because it is more easy to get a putty cat (and cheaper), than to have two porsche 911 in your living room ;)
Great shots puddleduck and Schwany.
