I experienced that the picture upload this month often did not work properly. After upload, a red screen appeared in thumbnoad of the respective image and an error message below. This was in 100% of the queued images on 2 attempts and in 2 out of 35 in another attempt. Even worse, the failed uploads still counted in my monthly quota. I .e. I cannot upolad more now for this March , athough only 167 of the allowed 200 MB quota are actually upoladed. Did anyone experience the same this March?

We are not aware of any widespread problem. Are you still having this?

Best way to report a problem is through the Feedback feature. We don't monitor forums regularly.

I've had a similar problem this week. Sometimes, I could upload a couple of photos, then the next would fail. Once this happened, the only way I could get successful uploads again was to shut down the browser then re-open and go back to the galleries.

This was using Firefox 3.6, Windows 7. I tried clearing the cache, but this did not help.

I had this very same problem yesterday, but today everything worked perfectly.

I have the problem as well. Firefox 3.6 and Windows 7

Thank you all for the answers. I wonder whether compatibility with Firefox 3.6 may be the problem,. I only recently upgraded to Firefox 3.6 (run on Windows XP).

I( cannot try anymore, unfortunately, because annoyingly, the failed uploads appear to count, although they do not appear in the bar. I always get the message "your upload quota is full", although the bar indicates only 167 MB out of the permissive 200 MB.

I've solved my problem regarding the upload error (the red background for thumbnail and the "Upload failed" message).

1. Uploaded Mozilla to final version. (not necessary because the problem was still in force after this first step)

2. followed the link: http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html and cleared the tabs below:
  • Website Privacy Settings Panel
  • Website Storage Settings Panel
Now everything works fine.

Hope it helps!
