It's impossible to find in the US? Just curious...

but I doubt

it intends on "owning" this particular market. OK - so we have to put up with a little marketing BS. I personally shoot with so many different cams that it can make your head spin (see profile - view plan).

But I've got to tell you, although I am a Samsung fanatic when it comes to my video and appliance products, I am really disappointed with the Samsung website (at least the one we access from the US) dealing with their cameras. I mean to say that as of yesterday or the day before, there was nothing on their website about the NX-10 - only a picture of the NX-10 with the sign "coming soon." C'mon mannn...what's the friekin delay? Every other brand has the complete details of their releases on their websites once they are announced (save perhaps, for the image samples which tend to arrive a few weeks later).

Not that I need the NX-10 because in the micro-end of things, I have the Oly EP-2 and Panny GF-1 and GH-1. But after seeing "some" of the samples coming from a particular NX-10, I'd be game to get one. The last Samsung camera I purchased was the Pro 815 - which still remains in my collection.

But come on Samsung - quit all the loud talkin' when you can't even provide the product in perhaps one of your largest markets - the US, and not even having it on your website is absolutely pathetic.

OK - I'm done with the rant.

That's not really true. If you go to this link:

http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/photography/digital-cameras/nx-cameras/index.idx?pagetype=subtype

You get the NX10 icon. But if you actually click on it, you get this link:

http://www.samsung.com/us/consumer/photography/digital-cameras/nx-cameras/ES-NX10ZZSEB/index.idx?pagetype=prd_detail&returnurl=

So there is lots of info there, though maybe not organized like you would like to see it.

the icon because it took you to a virtually blank page - so the fix must have occurred like within the past 48 hours. And just to be sure, I even tried it with Firefox, IE, Chrome, Maxon, and Slim Browser. So I'm glad to see it's finally up and running with the content necessary - but it did take them a long time to get this done.

NX information has been on the Samsung site for a couple of weeks. Site must have been down.

First review posted on 2/8????? (A very odd one at that)

The Camera is not released in the US, but the manual is posted and more importantly the updated firmware. (Huh)

You can even download the RAW software.

Samsung is just teasing us in the USA. It's not even listed on Amazon.

NX10 curently on sale in Prague, Czech Republic. With two lenses, 18-55 mm
AND 50-200mm
OR pancake 30 mm.

Canon G10 (stolen in Brussels, February 2010), perhaps to be replaced with G11, Pana LX3 or Oly E-P1), Canon Ixus 400, vintage prewar Rolleiflex (the last collecting dust)

Actually I purchased a Nikon D40 (Yea I know old). But for $175 and only a little more then 2,000 clicks on the shutter I couldn't go wrong. I'm surprised how light it is, that was my main reason for looking at the NX. But I have to say I'm glad I found this little gem.
Where can you find the T2i in the US? I've been weighing in on both and can't find either.
I am almost ready to give up and buy the Canon T2i
