When I am not using either my Minolta AF or Sony AF lenses, how should they be stored.

I have front and rear lens on and should the lens be vertical with the lens optics on top or the lens in a horizontal position?

As long as you keep them dry (and away from extreme temperatures) they should be fine.

I store mine mostly vertical, but that probably does not matter.

I store mine with silica jel rechargable containers. The biggest danger is nearly always fungus growth.
