D80 does color/night: Salvador, Bahia, Brasil C&C welcome

Thanks to all of you here, the D80 is pretty good up to 800ISO, I do it all the time. More than that and colors start to fall apart in darker areas (I don't care much about noise).
beautiful set!-- and some say " it can't be done with a D80"!
Who would say such a silly thing? ;-)

Great shots, as usual, by Renato.

Love them, both.
Nice women.
Thanks to them for posing, and to you for sharing these beautiful pictures.

'We are all dying of slow oxygen poisoning.. it takes about 85 years'.. I hope!

I used to go wrong with color/film. With digital and histograms to help, plus some PP'ing, life is much easier.

Thanks for visit and comments, the place is really stunning, and I only had a day total of photo opps, while on a working trip.

Hi Renato !
Very nice pics of a beautiful city.
But the first one is the second and vice versa, lol !!!

You shot the street first, and then moved forward, discovered that beautiful church, and shot it, no ?
Exif data don't lie !
Just kidding...
Cheers

Nice photos as always - though I don't think they will have an appeal to people living on the Northern Hemisphere, freezing at this time of the year .

That's why you got my reply - Sydney weather today - low 40 C, as every other Australia Day.

Wonderfully colorful pictures brightened another day with new snow, the record 55th consecutive day with four or more inches of snow on the ground over the whole state of Iowa, and a sunny groundhog day which, according to tradition, means another six weeks of winter. How do I get there from Des Moines?

Thanks for posting.

Thanks Ramiro for comments. WB was on auto, I like the way it comes from the D80, warmer in artificial light, neutral with sunlight. Pretty consistent actually, some people don't realize how good these cameras are at getting WB right.
Great pictures, WB well managed.
Congrats!
