Oh how true this is! My wife and I have six kids - the oldest is now 35 - but I can still vividly remember the joy I felt when our first was born. And of the six, four are girls, so I fully understand the finger thing. One of the reasons why I've only gotten back into photography in the last three years. When they walk up to you with that special smile on their face, take your hand, look at you with those big soft eyes and say...Daaaddyyy...you don't have a chance...Trust me. I speak from experience...

Congrats, David! What a totally exciting moment. My reason for buying the M8 + 3 lenses + Visoflex III: our 3month old! I'm shooting a one-a-day gallery, which I'll make into a book after 365. One day, I'll put it out there to you all!
